Editorial Guidelines
At Pressdia, we prioritize legitimate news and timely announcements.
All press releases must be newsworthy, covering company events, expansions, milestones, financial reports, competitions, or other significant developments.
We do not accept general articles, opinion pieces, or promotional content.
Content Requirements
- Press releases must be between 500 and 1,500 words.
- They should read like a news announcement.
- Content must be accurate, free of aggressive language, slander, or unverified claims.
- We do not accept submissions with strong religious or political opinions.
- Press releases should be written in the third person, with first-person references allowed only in direct quotes.
- Each release must follow a logical press release structure, including:
- Headline (concise, under 10 words)
- Summary
- Main content
- Closing comment
- Editor comment (if applicable)
- Subheadings are generally not included in news announcements.
- All press releases must originate from a specific city and country.
Formatting and Submission Guidelines
- Press releases must be formatted properly, with each paragraph separated by a line break.
- We do not allow (X)HTML formatting; however, bold text, backlinks, and clickable email addresses can be included.
- All submissions must be free of spelling and grammatical errors. The editorial team will not proofread or edit your content.
- Duplicate content previously submitted elsewhere will be rejected.
- Each press release must contain valid media contact details, including a contact name and email address where necessary.
- Hyperlinks must be relevant and should direct readers to supporting information, such as graphics, documents, or official sources. Links used solely for promotional purposes will be removed.
Image Requirements
- Each submission must include one main image (.jpg or .png format).
- Additional images may be submitted, but their inclusion is not guaranteed.
- Company logos are not permitted within press releases.
- For additional media, we recommend sharing a Google Drive or Dropbox link in the Notes to the Editor section.
- Embedded images within the press release text will result in a request for revisions.
Editorial and Compliance Policies
- Pressdia reserves the right to reject, modify, or delete any content deemed offensive, slanderous, racist, inflammatory, sexually explicit, or promoting violence or terrorism.
- If a press release contains grandiose claims (e.g., endorsements, partnerships, or extraordinary achievements), Pressdia may request additional proof before publication.
- All submissions must be made from a valid business email address. If authenticity is uncertain, additional verification may be required.
- If a press release does not meet our editorial standards, you may opt for Pressdia’s Editorial Service for a fee starting at 20,0000 (+VAT) to refine and optimize the content.

- Poor headline — The headline lacked a news angle and/or attribution to the Issuer distributing the news release.
- Advertisement or SPAM — The news release reads like an advertisement or SPAM. Examples of these words and phrases include FREE, “Make Money”, “Don’t miss this opportunity!”, SALE!!!!
- Poor newsworthiness — The news release does not have sufficient news value for distribution.
- Poor writing quality — The press release is poorly written and/or does not make sense.
- Lack credible contact information — The news release contains incomplete or lack of credible contact information.
- Keyword spamming — Blatantly excessive keywords or phrases in the headline and body of the news release.
- Prohibited content — The press release contains prohibited content which may include the following:
- Personal opinions — We will not distribute content intended to harm or exact personal revenge against a person or group.
- Blog posts — Blog posts, general interest articles, “open letters” and the like usually lack attribution and/or news value.
- Defamatory or intent to harm — This content is defined as anything deemed intended to: incite, advocate or express hatred, bigotry, racism, or gratuitous violence; promote personal opinions attacking an individual or group; maliciously affect a company’s stock; or stalk, defame, defraud, degrade, shame or victimize an individual or group.
- Sexually explicit content — We do not accept content about sexually explicit material or products. Press releases should not contain references or links to explicitly sexual material, illegal material, or profane language.
- Health supplements — We do not accept content about health supplements or pharmaceuticals for sexual enhancement.
- Get rich schemes — We do not accept content about how to get rich, networking marketing and MLM schemes.
- Piggybacking — Unauthorized use of another issuer’s name and ticker symbol in the press release.
- Celebrity mentions — Unauthorized use of a celebrity’s name and likeness. Authorized consent and/or documentation must be provided from a verifiable contact such as a legal representative, estate, or management team.
- Unsubstantiated claims — Unreviewed, unregulated, and unsubstantiated claims for medicine, surgical treatment or devices that can prevent or cure COVID19.
- Inappropriate associations — Content that implies false official government association.
- Unapproved home testing kits — Content that promotes home testing kits for medical conditions that have not received Regulatory Clearance and Approval.
By submitting a press release to Pressdia, you acknowledge and agree to these guidelines.
Failure to comply may result in rejection or removal of your submission.
